Born and brought up in a family of Artists, Kirti has art in her blood as her mother Pratibha is Sangeet Visharad [Vocal] and father Arvind is well known Theater Artist. She has been Learning Kathak from famous Kathak Danseuse and senior Guru Mrs. Rekha Nadgauda (Founder and Director; of, Kirti Kala Mandir ; Kathak Institute) from last 16 years. |

Performances
Kirti's performance has been appreciated in various dance festivals, like 19th 'Kishor Sangeet Sammelan’, which was organized by Swar Sadhana Samiti Mumbai in 1999, as well as in the Yuva Mahotsava 2000 at Nasik. Her performance was highly appreciated in the "Gunjad Venu Nritya Mahostava" which was organized by Mahatma Gandhi Mission Sangeet Academy at Aurangabad in 2001.

She is a main participant in the group compositions mainly named 'Nupur Ranga', 'Nupur Ballet', 'Kathak Darpan', 'Ragmudra', 'Rasayatra', 'Sampuma Ramayana', 'Bandish',
'Moods of Bhairavi' composed & directed by Guru Rekha Nadgauda in these years. She has performed in various programs at Nasik, Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Bhuvaneshwar, Banaras, Bhopal, Bhilai, Belgaon,Delhi, jabalpur etc. Kirti also has performed in "Kathak jugalbandi-Dhamar" in Nataraj Pt. Gopikrishna jayanti Mahostava'-99 organised by kirti Kala Mandir at Nasik.

Awards
Kirti started Learning Kathak very early & with the able guidance of Guru Rekhatai she proved a very promising young artist in field of Kathak dance. She proved her talent every time, whether it is a stage performance or competitions, she always performed with flying colours. In the All India Music & Dance competitions, she always performed with flying colours. |

In the year 1995 & 1999 Kirti won First award &
Women's Artist Guild Trophy in the All India Music &
Dance competition, which was organized by Swar Sadhana
Samiti, Mumbai. She also won first award at Winter
Carnival '1997 at Kulu Manali. The highlighting features
of her success are that she received a scholarship from
Human Resource Development, Dep. of Culture, Gov. of
India, in year 1999-2000. And also have awarded 'Deshdoot
Gaurav Award' by Deshdoot, Nashik.

Choreography
i) Choreographed a dance sequence in the Drama named 'Saphire' at State Level.
ii) Choreographed a dance sequence in a short act play named 'Blackout' for 'Alpha Maha Karandak kankika'.
iii) Choreographed a program on the selected poems of contemporary poets.
iv) Worked as a Choreographer for a film on Krishna Valley Project.
v) Choreographed a T.Y. Ad for 'Pigale Saraf' on local channel.
vi) 'Arambha' - choreography of a pure Kathak dance presented by the upcoming talented students.
vii) Also have worked as a voice over artist for documentary films and T. V. Ad

Kirti has got able guidance of Senior Gurus like Pt. Birju Maharaj, Pt. Suresh TalwaJkar, Pt. Rajendra Gangani, Pt. Shama Bhate, through various workshops in these years.
Apart from this, she has considerable knowledge & interest in the fields of painting, music (Vocal), & acting & have won various awards.
