PRARAMBHIK :- Certificate Course
The basic Five year Certificate course conducted at all the branches is called a Hobby Course. In this a student learns the basics of Bharata Natyam and acquires a minimum quality level of a dancer. It is more aimed at appreciation and knowledge of dance. As part of the training every student per forms annually on stage and thus gains confidence at personal level. A written examination is conducted at the end of this course after passing which, a student gets a certificate.

RANGAPRAVESHAM :- Diploma course
After the completion of the certificate course, it takes two/three years for a student to appear for the practical, oral as well as the written examination which makes her eligible her first stage performance i.e. Arangetram. Here the concentration is on perfecting the technique. At this level the student becomes a member of the Trust and can participate in various activities conducted by the Trust. After this level he/she can also become an assistant teacher at any one ofKalavardhini's Training Centers.

ADHYAPAK :- Teacher Diploma
The experience of an assistant teacher enables a student to become a full fledged teacher and she can start training students on her own. This is a 2/3 years course which is offered at the main branch of Kalavardhini in Pune only. Apart from practical training in Teaching Methodology, this course also involves studies in theory and Natuvangam and the examination for the same.

DEVI MAHATMYAM
This dance drama produced choreographed and directed by Smita Mahajan, projects various aspects of a woman through the story of Goddess Parvati.

MALATI MADHAV
This group presentation based on the famous Sanskrit play by Bhavabhuti. Directed by Prasanna Athale, this production makes imaginative use of traditional Bharat Natyam Margam (repertoire) to project the main episodes from the play.

FROM DARKNESS TO DAWN
In 1997, to celebrate the 50th year of India's independence Kalavardhini has produced this unique group venture based on Pt.Nehru's famous book 'Discovery of India'. Conceived and directed by Dr. Smt. Sucheta Chapekar, this production showcases the important landmarks in ancient Indian history.It uses free dance technique with traditional gesture language and is based on Indian classical instrumental music. It can truly be called a representative of modern approach towards Indian classical dance.

LAYA-LEENA
Laya or Rhythm can be felt within the body of a human being as well as outside. This production based on the contemporary dance technique exploits the many dimensions of Laya and its import on human beings. The concept, choreography, and direction is by Arundhati Patwardhan and Manasi Pimple.

URJA
Sun is the prime source of energy for life around us. Man with his intellect, in his evolutionary path, understood the power of this energy and tried to command it. This duet presentation makes imaginative use of the strong and flowing lines of the Bharat Natyam and Kathak techniques respectively. It puts forwarda question whether this energy is for creation and betterment of life or its destruction ? Concept and choreography and presentation is by Arundhati Patwardhan and Leena Ketkar.

NAYIKA
